The pool was fun. When it hit dark the pool would be lit up and was very fun for the kids. They did have snacks, drinks and care needs right in the lobby that could be purchased. Staff were very friendly. It was so convenient to anything and everything we wanted to do.

The breakfast was nice in that it was early and offered many selections of breakfast items and included sausage and eggs while most hotels do not provide a protein-based breakfast. I loved how quiet the room was. It was quick and easy to check in. The shower was quick to get hot and there was a very nice large shower head.

Friendly, helpful and polite staff. Check in was a breeze, and paying for an additional night was a positive experience and the whole process was very quick I even paid late past check out time and they came to check if we were leaving or staying and were very polite and gave me the extra time to get my card issue worked out before I could go to front to pay no one showed attitude or were rude to me over my being late to pay I was very grateful for such a positive experience and most times paying past check out like that would of had some staff getting inpatient or rude but not these lovely people on staff here at wingfield inn on Parrish Ave in owensboro ky! Thanks again!

Our expectations for this lodging were absolutely blown-away. It started with booking the room itself. Comparable locations wanted anywhere between $150 - $250 per night, but Wingfield was able to offer our stay for under $100! It continued with our phone call after online booking to ensure Wingfield had received our reservation. They had, and in the course of discussing our stay, the manager Drew learned that one of our party was handicapped with limited mobility. While he admitted they could not offer any House wheelchairs, the first thing he did was offer for move our room to the closest available location to the entrance. As it happened, this location turned out to be a King room, which was an upgrade from the Queen we booked, and he added that this would give our family member a little more space to move around as well. Despite the fact that this was an upgrade, Drew still made the changes in our reservation WITHOUT any additional charges, and he was a fun person to talk to anyway. When we got there, we were met by his associate Abhi, who greeted us with the royal treatment as well. We felt so lucky to have found this location. Upon entering the room, we found it was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities intact - including a refrigerator with icebox. You don't get that everywhere, even places that charge more. Big screen TV, plenty of pillows, and a calm modern design aesthetic. The bathroom was large and well designed for a person with limited mobility as well, complete with a metal bar properly placed to help him stand. The restroom came with Shampoo, Conditioner, and even Body Lotion, as well as a bar of soap. I would advise that anyone coming who wants to use body was should bring their own, as well as a toothbrush and toothpaste. But every hotel will make decisions about which amenities to offer, and we were perfectly happy with what Wingfield determined to be needed for their guests.

this place was absolutely amazing the staff were very kind and friendly. the whole hotel room included were very clean and tidy the beds were absolutely comfortable mine and my husband's stay was so peaceful and allowed us to relax and unwind which was much needed . the breakfast buffet was to die for was my husband's favorite part of the stay ❤️❤️❤️❤️

They accommodated my request to be on the first floor. The bed and pillows were very clean and comfortable. The updates to the room and decor is very obvious and pleasant. Floors and furniture were clean. No mold or stains anywhere, though I’d replace the knob for the shower faucet. (Room 106) Breakfast was very good, the Orange juice delicious. And the location was surprisingly quiet with restaurants and stores nearby.

My mom and I loved it here! The staff was super nice. When making the reservation, the Booking app messed and told me the first one wasn’t completed, so I went through the process again. However, the first one actually had gone through. I contacted the property and they said I’d need to contact Booking, which makes sense. I sent Customer Service a message. When I got to the hotel, the same man was at desk. He explained how the whole process works and said he’ll be happy to refund the other reservation if Booking is willing on their side, even though it was technically supposed to be As of today, everyone has agreed to the refund! So, thank you to the staff and to Booking! We loved everything about our stay, so I’m glad that it all worked out. Rooms were clean, breakfast good. Very satisfied.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were soft with nice quality linens and blankets. Shower was sizeable with excellent shower pressure and plentiful towels and amenities. Lots of free parking.
